Su Li

Su Li is a pianist and musician with a strong background in both classical and contemporary music. She began studying piano at a young age in Beijing and later continued her musical education in California and at Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she earned a Bachelor of Music with dual concentrations in Piano Performance and Music Business/Management. Although her program was designed as a five-year course of study, Su completed her Berklee degree in approximately two and a half years, graduating in May 2026 with strong academic results and six Dean’s List awards. During her time at Berklee, she participated in numerous ensembles and piano labs and performed in many concerts and recitals, including Berklee’s KeyFest Student Concert. She has received numerous honors throughout her musical journey, including the Advanced Certificate of Merit from the Music Teachers’ Association of California, top-level piano certifications from the China Musician Association and China Central Conservatory of Music, and First Prize in the International Smetana Piano Competition. Her performance experience also includes numerous recitals and cultural events in the United States and China.

As a teacher, Su enjoys helping students develop strong musical foundations while encouraging them to discover their own musical personalities and interests. Su’s repertoireranges from composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, Rachmaninoff, and Liszt to jazz and contemporary artists including Bill Evans, Duke Ellington, Chick Corea, John Coltrane, and more. In addition to her musical experience, Su has volunteered with Cross Culture, a nonprofit organization focused on cross-cultural communication, where she gained meaningful experience working with young students and people from diverse backgrounds. She believes that learning music should be both meaningful and enjoyable, and she hopes to help each student build confidence, creativity, and a lasting love for music.
