INSTRUCTOR
Born and raised in San Diego, California, Eric began playing guitar at the age of 9 and has been passionate about music ever since. From 2017–2021, he attended Berklee College of Music on scholarship, where he studied jazz and classical guitar with renowned professors including Berta Rojas, Sheryl Bailey, and Kim Perlak.
After graduating from Berklee, Eric returned to San Diego, where he taught guitar and bass at School of Rock and worked as a music assistant at Mission Bay High School under music director JP Balmat, contributing to the school’s award-winning music program.
Eric is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Jazz Studies and Performance at the New England Conservatory of Music. He enjoys helping students develop strong fundamentals while encouraging creativity, confidence, and a genuine love for music.
Eric teaches guitar, electric bass, and ukulele to students of a variety of ages and experience levels.
