Jean Taglia Gambrell
INSTRUCTOR
Jean Taglia Gambrell is a musician based in Boston, and having attended Boston Conservatory for cello performance, has been able to perform in orchestras, chamber ensembles and solo performances regularly. Beginning the violin at the age of 4, she knew she loved music, which led her to begin the cello at age 9. She has been passionate about music ever since. After many years of listening to her siblings play the piano, she began to play pieces by ear, and eventually was able to foster her skills by taking piano lessons. Now she is passionate about all three instruments. Jean loves teaching because she believes that providing students with a solid foundation is the key to their success. She believes that any student has the ability to learn an instrument well, and that it is her job to cater to the individual needs of the student to guide them to a love and excellence in their instrument.
