Mary Galstian

Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Mary Galstian began studying music, theater, and dance at an early age, developing a deep passion for storytelling through performance. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music, Theater, Dance, and Media from Harvard University, where she performed as a soprano soloist, composer, and interdisciplinary artist.

While at Harvard, Mary premiered several original works, including Advent: Galoost at the ARTS FIRST Festival and Hpoom at Paine Hall’s Studio for Electroacoustic Composition. With a voice described as ethereal, powerful, and soul-stirring, she combines technical command with emotional authenticity, bridging the worlds of classical arias, cinematic power ballads, rap, jazz, folk music, and musical theater. She has performed on stages from Carnegie Hall to national television and infuses each project with purpose and presence. Her vision is to uplift, to awaken, and to embody stories that change lives.

Mary’s international background includes work as an Arts Portfolio Construction Consultant and Mentor with Crimson Education, guiding students through conservatory and arts-program admissions worldwide. She has also served as a creative writer, producer, and artistic coach, blending her interdisciplinary expertise to inspire authentic self-expression in her students.

Mary now brings her experience as both performer and educator to Go Go Allegro School of Music, where she is dedicated to helping every student find joy, confidence, and creativity through the art of music. She brings a holistic, heart-centered approach to every lesson. Her teaching style blends technique & storytelling with artistry & self-expression to create a joyful and empowering learning experience. She believes that music is not just learned but lived — a language that unites emotion, culture, and imagination.
