Stephen Tamas

INSTRUCTOR

Stephen is originally from San Francisco, California but has been in the Boston music scene for many years.  He has studied with virtuoso Philipp Staeudlin at the Boston Conservatory, where he earned his Bachelor’s in Saxophone Performance with a minor in Philosophy.  Throughout his life, he has also studied piano, composition, music theory, and very much enjoys teaching all of these musical subjects. He now studies at Boston University with world-renowned pedagogue Kenneth Radnofsky and will soon complete his Masters Degree. Stephen regularly premiers pieces of contemporary classical music and plays jazz within the local scene.  He enjoys working with students of all ages and sharing his love of music with them!
