Malayna Knox
INSTRUCTOR
Singer/songwriter, business entrepreneur, vocal coach, and pianist/vocalist, Malayna is a graduate from Berklee College of Music where she earned her degree in Music Business. Malayna has also performed all over New England for many years. She grew up in Vermont surrounded by music. She has studied piano and vocals as well as playing French horn for 12 years, and competed in many competitions earning first chair spots, honors awards, and scholarships. Malayna has always been a high supporter and coach for young children in the music industry.

Heroes – My Mom has always been my hero growing up. My musical hero was my Uncle Robert, who was a phenomenal musician.
Practice Tip – Always take care of your instrument, strive to be your best friend, and find your own artistry. Sometimes practicing 10 minutes a day is perfect harmony. Challenge yourself to try new styles and focus on what’s most important to you. How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Practice, practice, practice.
